Flexibility isn’t just for parenting

Making Flex Work isn’t just for working parents to be there for their children, sometimes it for working adult children to be there for their parents.

This week I played Bunko of the first time in over 10 years when my mom’s Bunko group was short 2 players and I got the call asking me to fill in (IYKYK).

Many people mistakenly think that flexibility is just an accommodation for moms, but over the last 4 years, I’ve had conversations with people who have leveraged flexible work for all sorts of things in their lives.

I don’t know if you can tell by the name that my mom made for me, but having me there meant a lot to her, and having the flexibility to be there for her meant a lot to me too!
